Today Malaysian delegation headed by Governor of Penang State H.E. Tun Dato Seri Abdul Rahman Abbas is arriving in Kazan.

The delegation will visit JSC Kamaz, SEZ Alabuga, Sollers-Elabuga. According to the cultural part of the program,  Malay business community representatives will have an excursion to Kazan Kremlin and to Kul Sharif mosque.

Today President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to the Russian Federation Alfredo Perez Bravo.  

Sochi-2011 X International Investment Forum was opened on Thursday. Vice Premier of Russia Dmitry Kozak and Governor of Krasnodar Region Alexander Tkachev made a speech in the opening ceremony.

“It is the tenth time when political and business elite of the Russian Federation and the number of foreign countries gather together in order to present investment projects of Russian regions in one of the best resorts of the country ", - said Dmitry Kozak, welcoming the guests.

VII Baikal International Economic Forum finished its work. Within the framework of the Forum Tatarstan Delegation headed by President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the exhibition of investment projects “Siberia - the land of opportunities”, Irkutsk – the supporting point", where they got acquainted with investment projects of SCO member countries and RF regions – Irkutsk and Irkutsk region, Far East and Siberia, Moscow, St. Petersburg and foreign countries. Also, Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency (TIDA) Linar Yakupov took part in the event.

The annual WAIPA World Investment Conference is being held in Geneva, Switzerland, 5 – 6 September 2011 at The Grand Kempinski Hotel -19, Quai du Mont-Blanc, 1201. It will bring together international panels, government officials, Chief Executives from the private sector, representatives from Investment Promotion Agencies (IPAs), as well as members of civil society and academia. President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency (TIDA) Linar Yakupov and other representatives of Tatarstan Government will take part in this event.

The second informal meeting of young entrepreneurs of Tatarstan will take place near Kazan on 3-4 September, 2011. Young people will spend 2 days in the open air on the banks of the Volga River in Kuzemetyevo. What is interesting, the meeting will be held in traditional way: tents, campfire and communication. Moreover, there will be organized dozens of workshops, seminars and business games.
