Executive Director of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) Bronzatto Carlos became the guest of honor at the VI International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries (KazanSummit2014) and presented at a special session on best practices in attracting investment.
The session of institutions development with representatives of investment promotion agencies and Development Corporations of Tatarstan, the Republic of Mari El, Ulyanovsk, Kaliningrad, Altai discussed investment promotion and brand-building regions and the country as a whole, investment, advertising and information campaigns. Mr. Bronzatto, in particular, noted that the organization of a large PR-information campaign of a particular region is quite expensive.
Unified brand of the region as a multifaceted resource of development was discussed at a roundtable during the VI International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries (KazanSummit 2014).
Representatives of brand territories creating participated in discussion and shared their experiences and opinion about why the brand of Tatarstan is so successful.The discussion was moderated by the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on Tourism Sergey Ivanov. United Arab Emirates have become a country of honor at the VI International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries. In the republic's capital to participate in the KazanSummit 2014 has come a representative delegation of the UAE. At the forum, which was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov, sides discussed prospects of mutual investment cooperation between Tatarstan and the United Arab Emirates.

Document was signed in the presence of President of the Republic of Tatarstan by Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov and Russia's largest online retailer X5 Retail Group CEO in KazanSummit 2014.

Rustam Minnikhanov and UAE Economy Minister Sultan bin Saeed al-Mansouri, who is the head of the delegation to the VI International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries, discussed further mutual cooperation.
The President underscored that the UAE is one of the most perspective countries for cooperation, Tatarstan last four years has been actively involved in the Annual Investment Forum (AIM) in Dubai. Head of state also said that Tatarstan takes the experience of Arab colleagues.
