A one-day working visit to Brazil was held yesterday, in July 13, 2014, by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. He was presented at the closing ceremony of the World Cup 2014 in Rio de Janeiro.

To Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) arrived Russian President Vladimir Putin to participate in the closing ceremony of the World Cup 2014, during which Russia took over the championship in 2018.

The event was held in the football stadium «Maracana», where was also played the final match between Germany and Argentina and ended with the victory of Germany 1-0.

Government of the Russian Federation approved the «Action Plan aimed at increasing productivity, development and modernization of highly productive jobs» (Order of July 9, 2014 № 1250-p).

The plan includes seven key areas: investment incentives for the renovation and modernization of production; technological upgrading incentives; incentives to replace obsolete jobs; creating conditions for professional development of employees; implementation of measures to increase labor mobility; measures to increase productivity in companies with state participation; measures to create the conditions for increased employment in the areas of individual and small business.

The plan provides the amendments to the tax legislation of the Russian Federation, aimed at motivating enterprises to participate in practice-oriented (dual) model of training highly skilled workers, as well as regional and national championships of professional skills WorldSkills Russia.

The event is being as a platform for communication and a strong focus on public-private partnership in Russia, investment in human capital, searching for new points of growth of the market, the development of the innovation process and the formation of a favorable investment climate.

«Initiators of the Investments in major projects – Prospects for Regional Cooperation of China-Russia» forum, which opened today in Shanghai, are Commerce and Industrial Committee at the National Committee of the development of the Asia-Pacific region’s economy (the structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China), the Shanghai Union of Industrialists and Businessmen, as well as the Association for Cooperation on major projects between Russia and China. The memorandum was signed during a meeting of the official delegation of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (XUAR) of the People's Republic of China (PRC) with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

Meeting of region’s head with the delegation of the Xinjiang region was held within the working visit of the Chinese province, headed by Deputy Chairman Mr. Shi Dagan to the Republic of Tatarstan.

In the presence of Rustam Minnikhanov and Shi Dagan memorandum of cooperation intent with one of the world's largest manufacturer of equipment for the transformation, distribution and transmission of electricity – Chinese TBEA – signed JSC «Territorial Generating Company» (TGC-16) and JSC «Network company». From JSC «TGC-16» document signed by CEO Ramil Khousainov, from JSC «Network Company» - CEO Il'shat Fardiev. TBEA interests represented by the Deputy CEO Mr. Zheng Yan.

The delegation, which includes the representatives of government agencies and the business community, is headed by Government Deputy Chairman Mr. Shi Dagang.

In Tatarstan guests from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (XUAR) of the People's Republic of China (PRC) arrived by the invitation of the region’s head: Rustam Minnikhanov visited Xinjiang on a working visit in April this year.

The program of the visit of the official delegation on June 26 includes: visit to the Kazan Federal University, Kazan Kremlin, Kul Sharif Mosque and the Annunciation Cathedral, the Agro-Industrial Park and Kazan State Energetics University, meeting with President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The delegation is accompanied by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov.

In the plenary session of the event as part of its working visit to France participated President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

At the opening of «Innovative City 2014» head of the region noted that the preservation of the environment, historic sites and cultural heritage, the active use of high technologies – all the issues are important and interesting for Tatarstan as one of the economically developed regions of Russia.

Mr. Minnikhanov thanked the leadership of Nice for the invitation to participate in this event and expressed confidence that the knowledge obtained within the conference and new contacts will help in the further development of innovative projects that are running today in Tatarstan.

During the visit to the capital of Rhone-Alpes representatives of the Republic, headed by Rustam Minnikhanov, held meetings with the leadership of the Lyon Chamber of Commerce, the presentation of economic and investment potential of Tatarstan, as well as visits to Lyon Technology Park and Renault Trucks plant.

The delegation of Tatarstan includes Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ruslan Kabirov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Tatarstan Shamil Ageev, SEZ «Innopolis» CEO Igor Nosov.

Within the Fifth International Investment Forum «Industrial Projects in Russia», which will be held July 3-4 in Moscow, Tatarstan will present its industrial parks.

Among the participants such large objects as industrial park «Kamskiye Polyany», SEZ «Alabuga», «Himgrad» technopolis, «Tchistopol» and KIP «Master» industrial parks. During the forum will be presented detailed profiles of industrial parks, which will give understanding to the basic development trends.

The Forum 2014 will bring together about 700 delegates. The main theme of the plenary session, which will be held throughout the first day of the Forum, will be the state support of investments in projects of industry, including the development of industrial parks. State systematically expanding its presence in the field of industrial infrastructure, mainly supporting regional initiatives and private developers to build industrial parks.

This year, from June 30 will be working summer urban and city planning school under the guidance of Miguel Robles-Duran and his colleagues as part of Kazan Urban Forum.

The school will be organized jointly with the Institute of Governance and Territorial Development of Kazan Federal University (KFU) and will last until July 11.

Last year, Miguel Robles-Duran has come to Kazan and performed a public lecture at the Kazan Federal University.

Business Breakfast «Portrait of Russian regions. Integration of the Russian regions’ economies into the global system» with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan opened in June 5 the VI International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries (KazanSummit2014).

Welcoming the participants, Mr. Minnikhanov emphasized that the value of the summit is increasing every year: the event, which began as a platform for discussing issues of Islamic banking, today turned into a broader format – KazanSummit in 2014 was attended by over 500 participants from 26 countries, as well as about 20 regions of the Russian Federation.

«Today it is important for us to establish a direct constructive dialogue, to hear from foreign representatives of foreign business opinion about the real situation in the economy», - said the head of the republic.
