Minister of Construction of the Nizhny Novgorod region Vladimir Chelomin within his working visit to the region took part in the discussion of the interaction between construction enterprises of Tatarstan and the Nizhny Novgorod region.
Roundtable with the participation of Tatarstan representatives of the construction industry, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, the management of Tatarstan Export Corporation, Trade House «Tatarstan - Nizhny Novgorod» was chaired by the Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan Almaz Ahmetshin.
Vladimir Chelomin in the discussion shared information about the development of the construction industry of Nizhny Novgorod region and implementation of housing investment projects in the region. The Minister told about the projects as building a second bridge across the Volga and the road, as well as the development of the Nizhny Novgorod Metro.

The second forum of development institutions, which holds on April 2-3 in Yekaterinburg, is a specialized area of international, federal and regional development institutions to discuss best practices and development prospects. Compared to last year at the Second Forum greatly expanded topics for discussion, increased the number of guests from international organizations and agencies.
This year, special attention is paid to the inter-layer cooperation of development institutions in implementing the investment, especially infrastructure projects, the organization of projects using public-private partnerships.

The sides discussed cooperation within WAIPA, areas of joint work and the question of signing a cooperation agreements between the agencies. Designating areas of cooperation Linar Yakupov and Peter Bilek noted the development, agriculture, engineering and high technologies spheres.
Peter Bilek during negotiations announced its readiness to receive a delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan in Hungary in May this year. It is expected that the delegation will include representatives of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan and the business community of the region interested in developing cooperation with Hungarian colleagues.

Today, during the first day of the visit to the region, delegates met with the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Tatarstan Shamil Ageev and Mufti of Tatarstan Kamil Samigullin.
Tatarstan delegation headed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan visited Japan and Korea during the period from 18 to 22 March 2014.

Linar Yakupov, sharing information with reporters about the visit to Japan, said that the trip consisted of two directions: participation in the VI Russian-Japanese Investment Forum and working on the issues within the «Strategy for Socio-Economic Development of the Republic of Tatarstan till 2030» project (Strategy 2030).

«Urban planning and infrastructure» roundtable moderated by the Head of interaction with the legislative and the supreme executive body department, attracting foreign investment «Fund for Housing Development» Nikita Bantsekin and Executive Director of the world's largest architectural and consultancy agency «Nikken Sekkei Ltd» Takeshi Nakavake. Mr. Nakavake, in particular, during the discussions told about «Smart TOD» - environmentally friendly urban development with an emphasis on public transport.
During «The automotive industry and the development of supporting industries» roundtable Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Head of support and monitoring of investment projects Arthur Nigmatulin presented the region's potential as a platform where can develop the production of automotive components.
Discussion was moderated by the Department of Transport and special auto construction Director in Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Alexander Morozov, the multilateral trading system department of trade policy CEO in Japan Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Sigehiro Tanaka. Sigehiro Tanaka told the participants about the current situation and prospects of investment cooperation between Japan and Russia in the automotive field.

Head of the region also told about the work on implementing on the territory of the Republic of major investment projects, noting also that Japanese companies have been successfully working together with partners from Tatarstan in the petrochemical industry, oil refining, engineering, IT- sphere projects.
