Today in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency TIDA First Deputy Chief Executive Robert Galiullin and representatives of Tatarstan Development Corporation met with a delegation of the Turkish company "Söğüt Insaat".
On the meeting were presented investment potential of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the new investment platform of Tatarstan - Kazan Smart City. TIDA Chief Executive First Deputy noted that Tatarstan has eight priority areas: chemical and petrochemical industry, mechanical engineering and automotive components manufacturing, construction and building materials, agriculture and agro-processing, IT-industry and telecommunications, "halal" industry, medicine and pharmaceuticals, service industries and tourism. Kazan Smart City aimed to the developing medicine, high technology, education and service industry.
Guests interested in the transport infrastructure of the republic, shipping in the waters of the Volga, and the possibility of the company's presence in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Robert Galiullin also noted certain preferences, that provide special economic zone "Alabuga" and Kazan Smart City. Kazan Smart City, for example, provides investors with minimum taxes, including a free connection to the network, tax-free land, property and transport.
In 2010 under the patronage of the first president of the Republic of Tatarstan began a large-scale implementation of "Revival" program, which includes the restoration and renovation of historical sites of Bulgar and Sviyazhsk. August 17, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency employees visited Svijazhsk island-city, located at the confluence of the Volga and Sviaga rivers in Tatarstan.
Sviyazhsk was founded in 1551 as a fortress, which was built within four weeks from parts made in Uglich and transported down the Volga. It became a military base of the Russian army during the siege of Kazan (1552).
In Sviyazhsk were based Dormition and John the Baptist Convents. The architectural ensemble of the current Sviyazhsk - is beautifully preserved temples, including the oldest wooden Trinity Church, St. Nicholas Church and the Cathedral of the Dormition. The "Alabuga-Motors" company organizes production on equipping the basic chassis of "Ford” cars and a number of other brands in the specialized transport, in particular, taxis, ambulances, school buses of different sizes, electric cars and cars with gas engines. The Finnish company "Huhtamaki" announced its intention to build on the SEZ "Alabuga" territory modern plant for the production of disposable tableware and packaging, made of paper and plastic - "Huhtamaki Alabuga". It is expected that the new plant will be a major supplier of disposable cups and lids for the restaurant chain McDonald `s in the Volga region, Western Siberia, Kazakhstan and the Urals.

As the main celebration treat in honor of the end of the holymonth of Ramadan was a pilaf, which was prepared at once in five big caldrons placed in the field.
