Governmental decree from September 4, 2014 №1726-p approved the Concept of supplementary education for children, prepared with the participation of the Autonomous Nonprofit Organization "Agency of strategic initiatives to promote new projects" (hereinafter - the Agency). One of the major purposes of supplementary education for children, under the positions of the Concept, is to increase biodiversity, quality and availability of supplementary education for each child, as well as providing supplementary educational programs for at least 75 per cent of children aged 5 to 18 years by 2020.

On March 13 was held the meeting of the Economic Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, chaired by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The main issue of discussion was the current economic situation in the republic, in particular tax revenues to the budgets of various levels, the condition of the industry, the export potential of the Republic and a number of other issues.

Department of Economic Development is the executive authority implementing powers in the economic sphere.

On March 5 was held a meeting of the Public Council under Tatarstan Investment Development Agency.

The agenda included discussion of two important issues for the republic (the concept of the Investment portal and proposals in the "Investment Policy" section of the Strategy 2030) and, in this context, an advisory body meeting was held in an enlarged format. Thus, in the discussion participated representatives of the Ministry of Information and Communication of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, AV Group Institute and a number of other structures.

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in Kazan Kremlin met with Managing Partner of “PricewaterhouseCoopers” (PwC) in Russia David Gray.

Earlier the President met with representatives of the corporation at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. PWC provides services to large enterprises of republic since 1995.

In Tatarstan Investment Development Agency held a meeting with representatives of the Kayi company, Yasar Baytak medical clinics and DS Endustri company.

TIDA Chief Executive Taliya Minullina held a presentation of economic and investment potential of Tatarstan, and then discussed with the top managers of Turkish business areas of cooperation.

A delegation from the United Arab Emirates headed by Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs Abdullah Al Saleh arrives in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The aim of visit of representatives of the Ministry of Economy and the National Bank of the United Arab Emirates, Dubai Investment Park, Dubai Investment Company and a number of other structures is acquaintance with economic and investment potential of Tatarstan, followed by the implementation of joint projects.
