Business program of event include the discussion, related to the implementation of the Federal Law on the contract system in procurement, transparency and mechanisms to improve the efficiency of public procurement under the conditions of the contract system, as well as organizational and financial aspects of regional procurement.

Organizers of the forum, which opened today in Moscow «Crocus Expo», are: «SUPPORT OF RUSSIA», Moscow Association of Entrepreneurs, Russia People's Front «For fair procurement» project, Guild of national experts on state and municipal orders. The forum is supported by the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of Moscow under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce in Russia.

The plenary session of the event was attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

Organizer of the conference, which will be held April 23-24 in Tatarstan, together with the Dutch innovative regions network The Technopolicy Network supported by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia is the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR).

The conference was attended by delegations from several European regions, representatives of science and technology parks, small and medium business, and engineering centers. From Russia participates the representatives of 13 AIRR regions, federal ministries, the ministries and departments of the Republic of Tatarstan, the leaders of the regional innovation infrastructure facilities, universities and institutes of development.

The event, organized for state and municipal leaders in the region, started on April 22 in «Korston».

The seminar attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, «Sberbank of Russia» Chairman German Gref, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov, heads of ministries, departments and municipalities of the republic.

Yesterday at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ruslan Kabirov and Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Tatarstan Chairman Shamil Ageev summed up the working visit of the region delegation led by Rustam Minnikhanov in China.

During the visit, which lasted from April 15 to 18, Tatarstan delegates visited Urumqi, Beijing, Hong Kong and held about 20 meetings with Chinese representatives. This trip resulted with a number of signed agreements and arrangements about the elaboration of the opportunities for joint investment projects. Tatarstan Investment Development Agency signed a memorandum of cooperation with one of the world leaders in the manufacture of transformers and electric equipment - the TBEA Chinese Company. As noted Linar Yakupov, currently TBEA is working on the organization of the working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan.

Presenting the state award of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the «Dostyk» medal («Friendship» medal) of II degree to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan was held today in the meeting of Rustam Minnikhanov with Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation Marat Tajin.

The Ambassador told that this award is given for fruitful activity in the mutual consent in the society, contribution to strengthening peace, friendship and cooperation between peoples.

«Under your leadership in Tatarstan holds an effective work to maintain inter-religious and inter-ethnic peace, creating favorable conditions for life, and developing the potential of citizens regardless of their ethnicity or religious affiliation», - appealed to the head of the republic Marat Tajin.

Ildar Khalikov at the opening of plenary session underscored the importance of holding the forum in Tatarstan, whereby it is possible not only to the exchange of experience, information about innovations, but also forming a strategy for the future.

Head of Tatarstan government said that much of what was formed at such events a few years ago, implemented in preparation for the Kazan Universiade in 2013, which means the impact of solutions. Kazan, for example, is recognized as the city with the fewest traffic jams, which also was the result of well-formed strategies, properly organized projects of road transport infrastructure.

This statement was made by President of the Republic of Tatarstan in the meeting with the Hong Kong Minister of Finance John Tsang, who oversees in the government the relations with the Russian Federation.

Exchanging views on the economic and investment opportunities in Hong Kong and the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the main objective of the delegation visit in the Special Administrative Region of China – Hong Kong – the expansion of bilateral trade and economic, scientific and technological, educational and cultural cooperation.

«We have a great potential for cooperation, - said the President of the Republic. – Unfortunately, we do not use them fully. Meanwhile, Hong Kong investors can use Tatarstan as a rocket site to enter the Russian market».

Head of the region within his working visit to the People's Republic of China (PRC) today held a series of meetings in a special administrative region of China – Hong Kong.

At a meeting with the Meridian Capital Board of Directors Chairman Marc Holtzman Mr. Minnikhanov discussed cooperation in areas such as agriculture and processing, biotechnology, public-private partnership in the field of medicine, as well as development cooperation. Earlier discussions between the Tatarstan President and the Meridian Capital Board of Directors Chairman held in January 2013 (at an economic forum in Davos) and in April 2013 (Kazan).

In the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park, established in 2001 by the Government of the Special Administrative Region of China, delegation of Republic of Tatarstan presented the possibility of the park and its future prospects.
