Cooperation of parliament of the Russian Federation and the OIC countries, business and investment climate, strengthening of peace and stability, the promotion of dialogue among cultures and civilizations was the subject of a consultative meeting of the parliamentary session, held in the framework of KazanSummit 2013.
International economic summit of Russia and OIC countries held in Kazan on October 2-3 at the International Information Center. On October 2 at the summit held the investment, business and media forums, Conference on Islamic Economics and Finance, a forum on investment promotion, round tables and business meetings, discussions on the investment areas and "smart" cities of the Republic, in particular the Kazan Smart City project. Also on the first day of the summit was held a business breakfast of the President, groundbreaking ceremony of Kazan Smart City and a gala dinner hosted by Rustam Minnikhanov.
Opinions of journalists and experts in the field of the media were performed at the media forum of the International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries.
At the media forum were discussed the role of the media in creating and broadcasting the image and investment portrait of Russia and its regions.
At the media forum performed the «Business New Europe» Chief Editor Ben Aris, Chief Executive Officer of "Capital of the country" Elena Ivkina, BRICS Business Magazine Publisher Jilavian Arman, Deputy General Director of "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" Eugene Abov, Deputy General Director of the Publishing House "Economic Newspaper" Olga Irzun and others.
Today opened the first day of the V International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries (KazanSummit 2013), which was attended by representatives of foreign and domestic business, government, media, experts and investors.
KazanSummit held on October 2-3, 2013 at the International Information Center. The forum includes investment, business and the media forum, panel discussions, business meetings and exhibitions.
Traditionally there was a Conference on Islamic Economics and Finance. During the conference were discussed the trends in the global market of Islamic finance and the development of Islamic finance in the Russian Federation.
Kazan opened the 5th summit of cooperation between Russia and OIC countries.
Today, at the site of the International Information Centre (Universiade Village) opened the V International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries (KazanSummit 2013).
Summit has begun from a business lunch of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. Moderator of the morning meeting, which was attended by representatives of major Russian and foreign companies of the world, was Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov.
The President of the Republic of Tatarstan noted that the KazanSummit is not only a place where meets the Russian and the Islamic world, but also a great opportunity to present the economic and investment potential of Tatarstan.
A few days after the announcement of the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev the decree on the establishing of the Russian agency for attracting investments to the regions (RAAIR), in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting with the participation of representatives of the institutions responsible for the attraction of investments in the regions of Russia.
The seminar was attended by representatives of the Investment Promotion Agencies and the Corporations of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chelyabinsk, Sverdlovsk, Ryazan, Tambov regions, North Ossetia-Alania, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Sakha, Kamchatka and the Stavropol region. In Kazan was a meeting of the heads of regional development institutions from 22 Russian regions.
Tomorrow, at the International Informational Centre will start the fifth International Economic Summit of Russia and OIC countries (KazanSummit 2013).
KazanSummit 2013 - is a unique platform of economic cooperation between Russia and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Every year, the International Economic Summit gathers representatives of international organizations, domestic and foreign financial institutions, foreign diplomatic missions, investors and businessmen.
This year is expected to involve 230 foreign delegates and around 350 representatives of Russian regions. Among the foreign participants are the official delegations from 35 countries: the ambassadors of the State of Qatar, Malaysia, Pakistan, Palestine, Senegal, Mexico, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and investment companies in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, the largest international holdings, group companies.
Information about signing the decree on the creation of the Russian agency to attract investment to the regions announced Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev at the International Investment Forum "Sochi-2013".
According to the head of the Russian government, this structure should be "on the one hand, the one-window service, especially for foreign investors, who come with the projects for medium-sized businesses by $ 5 million investment. On the other hand, the agency should be created to promote the Russian regions in the global investment market."
At forum "Sochi-2013" has discussed the using of standards of "green" construction and principles of smart city management.
Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov took part in a round table "Enhancing the quality of life: environmental projects and green technology."
September 26-29 in Sochi was held an International Investment Forum "Sochi-2013", which was attended by a delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The forum studied the increasing of investment attractiveness of innovative projects and their implementation.
Forum held a variety of sessions and round tables, one of which was devoted to the problems of environmental pollution.

September 26 a delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov came to Sochi. The delegation includes Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov, Assistant to the President of Tatarstan on Economic Affairs Ayrat Khayrullin, Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Tatarstan Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov, General Director of JSC "Tatneft" Shafagat Takhautdinov, Rector KNRTU-KAI Albert Gilmutdinov.
This morning, the International Investment Forum "Sochi-2013" opened with the traditional business breakfast organized by Sberbank of Russia, where Rustam Minnikhanov also performed. President of Sberbank German Gref, commenting the President’s speech, said that "Tatarstan has a unique experience in managing mega-projects and managerial capacity of the republic should be used in all other mega-projects."
