September 25, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency in cooperation with the Plenipotentiary representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation will organize seminar on medicine and pharmaceuticals.

To the meeting were invited Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan Adele Vafin, heads of the largest companies in the medical and pharmaceutical industry, Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov, Plenipotentiary representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation Ravil Akhmetshin, TIDA and Tatarstan  Development Corporation representatives.

There will be discussed the advantages of placing production in the Republic of Tatarstan and the detailed analysis of the medical and pharmaceutical sector of the republic.

During the forum Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive met with leading Chinese companies and international investors. There also were presented SEZ "Alabuga", new investment platform of the Republic of Tatarstan - Kazan Smart City and Innopolis project.

The annual World Economic Forum (WEF) of new leaders, also known as the "Summer Davos", was opened in the Chinese city of Dalian. Summer Davos held in China since 2007. Forum 2013 is the fourth.

The central theme of the meeting of the new leaders in 2013, with the participation of more than 1.5 thousand politicians, businessmen, scientists, heads of media organizations from 90 countries, were innovation, primarily in Asia. From Russia to the forum came 13 people, the Republic of Tatarstan on the Summer Davos is presented by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov.

The award ceremony for the Russian level of the FIABCI Prix d’Excellence was held today as part of PROEstate: International Investment Forum on Real Estate 2013 in Moscow.

FIABCI-Russia is the Russia-wide stage of FIABCI Prix d’Excellence, one of the world’s most prestigious competitions in the field of real estate which is supported by The Wall Street Journal.

President of Promsyaznedvizhimost Group Maxim Gasiev presented the award for best master plan to Kazan Smart City, noting that the project is unique, multi-function and quite an ambitious announcement from the Republic of Tatarstan.

Document was signed by JSC “Tatarstan Development Corporation” CEO Bulat Gayanov and Guild of Managers and Developers (GMD) President-elect Andrey Stepanenko.

Today at the International Investment Forum PROEstate 2013 in the presence of the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov a cooperation agreement between Tatarstan Development Corporation and the Guild of Managers and Developers was signed.

The agreement is about the cooperation in the field of promotion of real estate projects in order to attract investment for projects in the Republic of Tatarstan and the increase of investment activity at the international level, cooperation in the area of ​​attracting developers to the federal level, the implementation of joint projects with the Guild.

The results of the Russian level competition will be announced today at the VII International Investment Forum on real estate PROEstate, which takes place in Moscow on 9-11 September 2013.

FIABCI-Russia - is the Russia-wide stage of FIABCI Prix d'Excellence, one of the world's most prestigious competitions in the field of real estate, which is supported by The Wall Street Journal.

The purpose of the competition is to identify the best objects in the various segments of a real estate market. In 2013, the competition has been held in 11 categories, one of which - the "master plan" nomination, where take part a new investment platform of the Republic of Tatarstan - Kazan Smart City.

"Road Map" of establishing an engineering center "KAI-Laser" signed in the SEZ "Alabuga" in the framework of the visit the IPG Photonics delegation. The document was signed by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and president of IPG Photonics Valentin Gapontcev.

Launching ceremony of the German plant was attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Saria holding founder Norbert Rethmann, "Saria Bio-Industries Volga" CEO Manfred Gellner.

Plant of animal protein production "Saria Bio-Industries Volga" is the first factory of German concern in Russia. It was founded on the SEZ "Alabuga" in 2011.

The new plant will process animal raw materials for the purpose of disposal and receiving two key products - feed meal and technical and feed animal grease. Up to 1000 km radius of collecting materials is intended to cover almost the entire territory of the Volga Federal District. 115 thousand tons of raw materials will produce 11.5 million tons of animal grease and 28.7 thousand tons of meat-and-bone meal per year.

Today the International Investment Forum on real estate PROEstate - the biggest event in Central and Eastern Europe, which gathers in one place industry leaders from more than 30 countries and 70 cities of Russia, opened in Moscow.

The PROEstate 2013 business program, which will be held in Moscow from 9 to 11 September, was attended by Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov and Tatarstan Development Corporation CEO Bulat Gayanov - operator of large-scale investment project in the Republic of Tatarstan - Kazan Smart City. From the Government of the republic Tatarstan Investment Development Agency supervises this project.

TransLogix is going to cooperate in the republic with Tatarstan Export Corporation (TEC).

Issues of cooperation between Tatarstan Export Corporation and TransLogix discussed yesterday at a meeting in Tatarstan Investment Development Agency. It was attended by TIDA Deputy Chief Executive Insaf Galiev, Head of Investment Promotion Wyatt Ford and Tatarstan Export Corporation CEO Ayrat Nazmeev. Company CEO Arthur Yamalov and Deputy Project Director Dmitry Gimakson represented TransLogix’s interests.

During the meeting were presented the main directions of the Tatarstan Export Corporation functions. In particular, Tatarstan Export Corporation CEO Ayrat Nazmeev noted that the objective is to increase the range of products that is exported from the republic and expanding the geography of sales. Both of these factors will make a significant impact on the volume of exported goods.

Master Chemicals Nalco Champion, a leader in Russia's oilfield chemical industry, today celebrated the opening of its new research and development center and regional headquarters in Kazan, Tatarstan. In addition to office space for the company's 65 local employees, the 21,500-square-foot facility houses 4,000 square feet of laboratory space for oilfield chemical research and the development of solutions for the benefit of other industries in Russia. Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Chief Executive Linar Yakupov participated in the opening ceremony.

In April 2013, Ecolab, the global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services, and the parent company of Master Chemicals Nalco Champion, made the decision to combine its energy services operations from across Russia in the rapidly growing city of Kazan, which has long been a major hub for Russia's oil and gas industry.
